A strong fine ale combines the malty taste with a smooth raisin finish. The Challenger hops provide the key herbal dry hop charactistics, First Gold and Goldings give some citrus fruit and the Crystal malt adds warming toffee. A touch of 5X, our matured in oak beer, adds dried fruit and raisins and produces a complex flavoured and richly satisfying ale.
