Released during the summer of 2019, Velocity immediately made a big impact on the craft beer scene. This deliciously citrusy and refreshing Session IPA has already won a gold medal in the UK, managing to blend big hop flavour in an easy drinking, contemporary style.
Session IPAs work well with fried or salty foods, as the salt and fat tone the bitterness down and call attention to the flavours underneath, while the carbonated texture matches perfectly with the crisp food. A glass of Velocity with a plate of fried fish or some olive all’ascolana is a beautiful thing.
FOAM: Tight and plentiful
AROMA: Vibrant stone and orchard fruits lead the aroma, with complementary and complex savoury notes alongside, balanced with pleasant malt undertones.
TASTE: Juicy and fruity, refreshing and moreish. Light on the pallet, yet satisfying and delicious.
