Launched to celebrate the Belhaven 300th anniversary, 1719 is a perfectly modern pale ale that pours three centuries of brewing expertise into creating a perfectly modern session pale ale.
Belhaven Brewery, which lays claims to be the oldest working brewery in Scotland, has unveiled a year-long programme of celebrations to mark its tricentenary. Founded in 1719 by local man John Johnstone, the brewery has been making beers at its historic site on the outskirts of Dunbar ever since. It took its name Belhaven, which means “beautiful bay”, from the coastal location in East Lothian on which is resides.
Triple hopped with Centennial for our triple centenary, along with mandarina bavaria and galaxy hops to produce a clean, bright, mouthwatering pale ale. At Sovereign Beverage Company we have the entire Belhaven range available for export.
