Inspired by tall tales of the ghostly ships that haunted the shores of Walberswick, you’ll discover whispers of aromatic elderflower, bold citrus and gooseberry flavours, with hints of warming rye spice. Ghost Ship 4.5% Pale Ale is brewed with Pale Ale, Rye Crystal and Cara Malts which add depth and moreish, biscuity hints. A blend of Citra and US and UK hop varieties provide Ghost Ship’s bold citrus flavours of lemon and lime, aromatic elderflower notes, and that wonderful hoppy finish.
Medium gold colour; light grainy aromas; strong, full-flavoured and fruity with a slightly sweet/bitter finish.
Double dry hopping whips up a surge of tropical fruit, flashes of pine, white grape and citrus, quickly followed by a crack of rye spice. Upfront, there is a massive splash of pine and Ghost Ship’s characteristic spiciness from the use of rye and Adnams house yeast. As the palate opens up, you’ll find mango, guava and pineapple and Citra’s character starts to shine, adding orange and red berries.
Bright salmon pink colour and fresh nose of raspberry and strawberry. On the palate juicy, yet elegant and refreshingly sparkling. Aromas of strawberry, watermelon and a touch of mint, the perfect summer wine.Serve well chilled at 9-11°CPerfect on its own served chilled or with slightly spicy dishes.
Innovation IPA is light, deceptively strong, and perfectly balanced, thanks to the use of wheat in its recipe. The initial assertive hoppiness delivers big flavours of grapefruit and mango, which are quickly balanced by a subtle, honeyed sweetness, and a caramelised, almost chewy finish. Delicious and fruity, you’ll find underlying hints of spice as its light base allows Adnams’ house yeast characteristics to shine through.
The wine is of deep red colour. The nose is reminiscent of blackberry and liquorice with a cracked pepper spice overtone. The palate is rich and rounded with soft tannins providing a lingering fruit-driven finish. Serve at 16-18°C for full flavour. Try it with rib roast or rich game dishes.
A wine of bright lemon colour. On the palate lush tropical fruit aromas (banana, pineapple, kiwi!) as well as spicy vanilla flavours. This is an elegant medium bodied wine with good balance and long persistence. Serve well chilled at 9-11°C. Enjoy with white meat, fish and salad
