Blackshore is brewed with a hefty mash bill for a rich, broad malt character. You’ll find Pale Ale, Brown, Double Roasted Crystal, and Chocolate malts, alongside Roasted Barley and a hearty helping of oats. Blackshore Stout is brimming with dark malt flavours of coffee, chocolate, and liquorice, thanks to a generous gesture with the grains.
Each year, the brewing team carefully select and blend beer from our stocks of barrel-aged beer, and then replenish what they’ve taken with fresh Broadside so maturation can continue. It’s Broadside, but not as you know it. Broadside is aged in ex-bourbon barrels over cherries. You’ll find cherries, vanilla, oak, and whisky notes alongside Broadside’s fruitcake flavours.
A bold but refreshing ale using pale malt to provide sweetness and a little Crystal malt for extra toffee and a touch of astringency. Challenger provides clean bitterness and an underlying herbal hoppyness. Hersbrucker adds a little fruit, spiciness and floral character and Cascade as the late hop adds masses of grapefruit citrus aroma and taste and floral fragrance.
