Triple Knot is inspired by the strong Tripel ales brewed in Belgium. Our take on this traditional recipe adds a few botanicals and enjoys six months maturation, allowing the beer to pick up characteristics often associated with a sparkling wine. Belhaven Scottish Stout is well-rounded, full-bodied and pleasantly malty. The roasted malt tastes really strong, there is also dark chocolate, coffee, spiciness and a hint of dark syrup, even molasses. The hopping does not overpower, but allows the solid malt body to come out beautifully.
