A hidden treasure has been unearthed in the Wychwood Brewery… and it’s as pure and precious as it’s forefather. Hobgoblin Gold might be lighter in colour than Ruby, however it’s definitely no lightweight. A combination of hop varieties & an infusion of wheat and malted barley has resulted in the perfect golden beer – with a huge hop punch.
An IPA with legendary status, forged from the finest hops. Famed for its taste explosion of hops, grapefruit and honey, leaving a juicy bitterness to finish. That’s why it’s called IPA (Iconic Pale Ale), but you already knew that
Traditionally craft brewed with Chocolate & Crystal malts and a blend of Styrian, Goldings & Fuggles hops to produce a full-bodied, Ruby beer that delivers a delicious chocolate toffee malt flavour, balanced with a rounded moderate bitterness and an overall fruity, mischievous character.
Ease Up IPA is light, bright, and highly refreshing, designed for relaxed, sessionable drinking. Fresh citrus and tropical fruit hop aromas lead the nose, followed by a delicate malt base on the palate that allows the hops to shine. Ghost Ship 0.5% retains much of the character of its full-strength counterpart, offering fresh citrus aromas led by lemon and lime hops. The palate is light-bodied and crisp, with gentle hop bitterness balanced by subtle malt sweetness. While softer in texture than the original, it finishes clean and refreshing, making it a satisfying alcohol-free option that still delivers recognisable Ghost Ship flavour.
Double dry hopping whips up a surge of tropical fruit, flashes of pine, white grape and citrus, quickly followed by a crack of rye spice. Upfront, there is a massive splash of pine and Ghost Ship’s characteristic spiciness from the use of rye and Adnams house yeast. As the palate opens up, you’ll find mango, guava and pineapple and Citra’s character starts to shine, adding orange and red berries.
Inspired by tall tales of the ghostly ships that haunted the shores of Walberswick, you’ll discover whispers of aromatic elderflower, bold citrus and gooseberry flavours, with hints of warming rye spice. Ghost Ship 4.5% Pale Ale is brewed with Pale Ale, Rye Crystal and Cara Malts which add depth and moreish, biscuity hints. A blend of Citra and US and UK hop varieties provide Ghost Ship’s bold citrus flavours of lemon and lime, aromatic elderflower notes, and that wonderful hoppy finish.
Specially brewed using an infusion of Chinese bruised ginger root and botanical extracts, Old Tom Ginger is a lively breed indeed. It has a delicious purring warmth for those colder winter nights…and a refreshing summer coolness when served over ice. Winner of World’s Best Herb & Spice Beer.
